She’s also mentored numerous successful entrepreneurs—and has served as an investor and advisor for healthcare companies such as Comply MD and Secant Healthcare.

A dedicated servant of the community, Tanveer co-founded (and serves as President of) the Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama. She is a past two-time President of the Birmingham Venture Club’s Board of Directors, and the President-elect of the Birmingham International Center. She also serves as a Board member of Tech Birmingham, Past Board member of HIMMS and four for-profit corporations of which two she is Chairman of Board.

David is an accomplished healthcare executive that brings 20+ years of documented experience in the industry.

He is founded, partnered and work with a variety of fortune 500 companies to include, Metronic, Stryker, Osteonic and Aesculap.

David possesses a vast amount of operational experience in the various key roles from sales/sales management, business development to C level positions. He obtains the ability to take companies from inception and or existing stages to provide vision and strategy to accelerate and expand the growth process.

His entrepreneurial/investment ventures include, pharmacy benefit management, information technology, MRI centers, physical therapy clinics, durable medical equipment, specialty pharmacies, lab diagnostics and Tele health systems. And energizing leader with a passion for creating and building relationships into long-term personal and professional investments.

James is a member of Maynard Cooper’s Corporate, Securities and Tax practice group and serves as Chair of the firm’s Venture Capital and Emerging Growth practices. A seasoned practitioner, James has worked with clients ranging from high-tech starts-ups to large, mature manufacturing businesses, and his investor clients range from first-time hedge fund managers to experienced private equity teams. James focuses his practice on these two primary constituents (investors and high-growth operating companies), allowing him to gain in-depth knowledge and insight into his clients’ businesses and the industries in which they operate. His focused volume of experience also provides him with up-to-date knowledge of current investment and M&A deal terms and trends, as well as the ability to make connections and bring strategic value to his clients. James represents operating companies in connection with M&A transactions, venture capital, private equity, debt, and other financings; intellectual property licensing; the negotiation of complex strategic agreements; cyber security programs; and general corporate matters. He also represents investors in connection with fund formations, investments in and acquisitions and dispositions of portfolio companies, and securities compliance. James has consistently been recognized for his legal acumen in these areas by Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America.

Outside of his work with Maynard Cooper, James operates a high-end training program called the Entrepreneur Accelerator Program (EAP) that he founded in 2004 while President of the Birmingham Venture Club. EAP equips CEOs to take their operating companies to the next level, and CEO participants lead companies ranging from start-ups to those with more than $25 million in revenue. James also serves on numerous boards of directors, including boards of organizations focused on cultivating innovation economies and entrepreneurial ecosystems and accelerating entrepreneurial ventures. He is also an entrepreneur himself, having co-founded a strategic investment firm and several healthcare-focused start-ups.

James is also a founder and past Chairman of TechBirmingham (the Birmingham Area Technology Leadership Alliance), where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of Innovation Depot, the Biotechnology Association of Alabama, the Alabama Information Technology Association and the Birmingham International Center.

Dr. Morrow has nearly 35 years experience as a managed care executive in a variety of positions.

His wide experience includes 14 years of clinical practice, executive regional oversight of quality and utilization management services for a national health plan, serving as an NCQA surveyor for more than a decade, along with the design, implementation and maintenance of disease management programs for conditions including: inflammatory arthritis, depression, chronic pain syndromes, multiple sclerosis as well as the traditional common chronic diseases.

Dr. Morrow also started the first injectable management program for a national health care company resulting in a comprehensive, highly successful program saving more than $100 million over several years. His passion is emerging technology which he sees as revolutionary but problematic for payers.

Dr. Morrow has authored nearly 200 publications, and has also served on the advisory boards for 7 journals and several not-for-profit organizations. He has also worked with a variety of pharmaceutical and device companies in assisting with strategic planning, sales and marketing, formulary placement, designing pull-through programs, representing products to managed care for formulary placement, coding and reimbursement analysis, and designing and implementing reimbursement initiatives for new products in both biotech and traditional markets.

Srinivasan has over 15 years of varied work experience across Healthcare, Retail and Automobile industries which includes Project Implementation and Management, Application Support, Vendor management, Systems & Process Management and Startup.

Hands-on experience in managing projects with cross-functional teams, process automation initiatives. Good knowledge and experience in managing offshore software development team. He has a passion for refactoring existing systems, improving performance of existing systems, design patterns, implementation of best practices.

He served as a Technical Manager in Microsoft Technologies in Satyam and TechMahindra. Has involved in software design and development, technical solutions, technical proposals, requirement analysis & management.

He was a cofounder of Novel Infosolutions, a software development company and also cofounder of a Startup company gText, a text messaging service platform. Srinivasan did his graduation in C.E.G Guindy, Anna University, Chennai.

Vinoth is an IT professional with 11 years of experience in various fields as- Banking, Retail & Healthcare domain. Coming from an engineering background, he started his career as a QA Analyst.

He has served expertise roles and designations in people management, operations and project management.

He has partnered & has in-depth knowledge about Application Support, Vendor management and Start-ups. His idea of success is hard work & determination towards the committed work.

He also served a role of cofounder for NovelInfosolutions, a software development company which specializes in application integration, web development, web-enabled solutions etc.

Dr. Rita Goyal is a Board Certified physician actively practicing telemedicine and is passionate about doing what she’s trained to do: delivering accessible quality healthcare. She is a 1998 graduate of the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine (UASOM), Birmingham, where she served as Class Officer, an American Medical Student Association officer, and where she married her long-time classmate, Dr. Munish Goyal. Upon graduation, she continued her medical clinical training at St Vincent’s East Hospital where she completed and became certified in her Family Practice Internship and Residency followed by an additional year training in private practice dermatology.

Dr. Goyal has over twenty years of experience as a board certified medical physician practicing outpatient and inpatient medicine and has served several lead roles. Dr Rita is a multi-award winner and is the recipient of Birmingham Metro’s Best Docs Award, 2015 & 2016 while serving as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at UAB Hospital, and the B-Metro’s Best Women Doctors award in 2017 and 2018.

As someone who loves giving back to her community, her philanthropic work started in Birmingham in her early years out of graduate school and since that time she has continued to be an active member of her community. She serves on the executive committee of YouthServe’s Board of Directors and is an active member of several Board of Trustee positions both at a local level and a state level. Her enthusiasm and passion for health education inspired her join the American Heart Association (AHA) in the awareness campaign for Women’s heart disease and stroke in 2014 to 2018. She is a Circle of Red Member and Cor Vitae member of the AHA. She is happily married to her husband, Munish K. Goyal, M.D and together they have two wonderful children. Dr. Rita currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.

Felicia Fortune joined ConcertCare in April 2016 as Chief Marketing Officer and brings over 15 years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in management, marketing, operations, healthcare, sports medicine, and sales.

Mrs. Fortune oversees the company’s marketing strategy, advertising, media and public relations, and brand management. Prior to joining ConcertCare, she served in a similar role for 13 years at American Family Care, Inc. (AFC).She has a Master’s in Sports Medicine Healthcare and Health Promotions.

She also has certifications in leadership development, teacher’s training, and CPR/AED Instructor.
